Letter to the editor: Thomas Heyward Academy remembers ‘caring’ Mrs. Punkin
Mrs. Punkin Moser was not only a fixture in Jasper County, but a treasured part of the Thomas Heyward Academy family. Mrs. Punkin was always willing to be there to video or photograph whenever she was asked.
She always went the extra mile. For many years, Mrs. Punkin created and published our football programs that would rival those bought at any college stadium. Oftentimes when a student could not pay for a sports package of pictures that she had taken, she would waive the charge. Mrs. Punkin was a giving, caring person and will be truly missed.
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal” — from an Irish Headstone.
Mrs. Punkin, your memory will live on in our hearts and in every video and photograph you took.
You will forever be a part of the THA Family.
