Hardeeville police seek public’s help month after fatal train crash
The Hardeeville Police Department seeks the public’s help a month after a man died in a crash with a train, according to a city news release.
On Dec. 7, Carl Williams, 65, of Hardeeville, died from trauma suffered in the accident when the vehicle he was driving was struck by a freight train near Church Road, Jasper County Coroner Martin Sauls said at the time.
Police are looking for more information. They think two vehicles were in the area, on each side of the tracks.
