3 locals to play in Blitz Border Bowl

Three area football players are set to compete in the inaugural Blitz Border Bowl high school all-star senior football game this month.

Brandon Howard, an eighth-grader at Hardeeville-Ridgeland Middle School, was selected to compete in the middle school Carolina Bowl that features top sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders in North Carolina and South Carolina.
